Sestosenso at A&T 2025: Showcasing ProxySkin and OptoSkin Prototypes

On February 12-13, 2025, the Sestosenso project participated in the A&T (Automation & Testing) 2025 fair in Turin, Italy, a key event for innovation in robotics, automation, and industry 4.0.

At our booth, we showcased the latest prototypes of ProxySkin and OptoSkin, demonstrating cutting-edge tactile sensing solutions for human-robot interaction and industrial applications.

Expert Talks from Sestosenso Partners

Our participation also featured two insightful presentations from project partners:

  • Francesco Grella (UNIGE) presented “ProxySkin: A Multi-Modal Robotic Skin for Human-Robot Interaction and Collaboration”, highlighting the advanced sensing capabilities of ProxySkin for safe and intuitive robotic interaction.
  • Ilze Aulika (ISSP UL) delivered a talk on “OptoSkin: A Large-Area, Electrode-Free Optical Touch and Pressure Sensor”, introducing a novel sensor technology designed for precise touch and pressure detection using optical approuch.

A&T 2025 provided an excellent platform for engaging with industry leaders, researchers, and innovators, strengthening collaborations and exploring future applications of our technologies.
