ISL’s expertise includes laser gated imaging, computational 3D sensing using compressed sensing, development of reconstruction algorithms, non-line-of-sight sensing by analysis of scattered photons, sensing in autonomous vehicles and robotics, optical propagation in scattering media or harsh meteorological environments and time-of-flight imaging and time-correlated-single-photon-counting (TCSPC) using SPAD detectors. Their expected contribution involves a test bench set-up with a series of proximity sensors to perform experimental studies and test performances, and to evaluate and support development of proximity algorithms.
