The experties of this partner includes tactile sensing technologies, sensor data processing, robot control, development and integration of robots for complex manufacturing tasks (e.g. manufacturing or assembly of parts of cars and other industrial items, several involving soft items, smart grippers) and techniques for tactile based recognition and classification for cognitive level HRI control. Their expected contribution is the specification of sensors patches, design of data acquisition modules, firmware and middleware implementation, tactile and proximity data processing (recognition and classification), and sensor-based control strategies, mechatronic design for the integration of sensors on the exoskeleton, integration of the tactile system on the COBOT and exoskeleton and development of the use-case experiments. They are the project coordinators.
