Middleware

The SestoSenso Middleware acts as the software nervous system for robots equipped with heterogeneous sensors. It acquires, synchronizes, processes, and serves tactile, proximity/ToF, IMU, and additional sensory data in real time. The system abstracts hardware diversity, providing developers and robotic platforms with coherent, deterministic, and unified multisensory information.
Conventional middleware solutions usually support only one sensor type or rely on vendor‑specific SDKs with limited synchronization capabilities. In contrast, the SestoSenso Middleware provides multimodal integration, coherent timing across devices, real‑time guarantees, built‑in replay capabilities, and unified representation layers.
