Their expertise involves all processes in vehicle and powertrain plants in the fields of flexibility, productivity, energy management, innovative robotics, quality monitoring, ergonomics, logistics; innovation activities about Exoskeletons and Collaborative Robotics. They provide HRC (4 COBOTs, devices for safety and work area monitoring, 3 ind. robots), human physical interaction for cyber physical systems (6 exoskeletons for industrial application, interfaces with humans and manufacturing system), 2 virtual reality rooms (immersive VR, XR), software for human and process simulation, analysis of HRC and ergonomics. Their contribution to the project will be as end user role, providing requirements and Use Case 1 for technologies validation; design of applications and relative testing framework for the automotive demonstrator; application-level characterization and validation of the project’s output.
