Their areas of expertise include materials science, electrical and optical properties of organic materials, optical modelling, organic and inorganic thin films, material structure, morphology. They are the authors of the idea of time-of-flight devices as a tactile sensor. They provide SoA thin film technologies, in house made polymer printing technologies, SoA spectroscopies and microscopy and software modelling. Their contribution to the project will be thin film coatings for improved optical performances for ToF signal transmittance, organic material deposition with AM technologies, optical and morphological characterisation needed for the 2D, 3D and 6D printed samples for ProxySKIN, basic time of flight tests and optical modelling.
